Finished charging?

The fastest way to end a charge (and release your cable) is to first unlock your car and unplug the cable from the car.

The most common methods for disconnecting are:

• Unlocking the vehicle by using the unlock button on your key fob (some vehicles require a "double press" or a "press and hold" of the unlock button).
• Pressing an unlock button on the vehicle's central console or sometimes by the charging connector.
• Selecting "unlock" from the vehicle app.

After you unplug your cable from the vehicle the charge point will also unlock and release the cable.

If you are charging at a rapid charge point the screen of the charge point will allow you to stop/end releasing the connector from your vehicle. Look for the "stop" or "end" charging buttons on the screen.
